
Cast Iron Roasted
Spiral Potatoes
From soft centered potatoes with crispy edges, to the beautiful bacon and top off with melted cheese.

Ingredients
5 to 6 Potatoes
Ground fresh Salt & Pepper
2 Tbsp Onion Powder
2 Tbsp Dried Rosemary
2 Tbsp Dired Thyme
2 Tbsp Sweet Paprika
1 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
Olive Oil
Bacon
Spring Onions
Grated Cheese
Sour Cream
Step 1: Cut the Potatoes
Preheat BBQ/OVEN to a Temperature of 400f or 205c.
Slice potatoes about a ¼ of an Inch thick or half a CM.
Place them into a large mixing bowl.
Step 2: Season the Potatoes
Using the following ingredients, season the potatoes:
Ground fresh Salt & Pepper
2 Tbsp Onion Powder
2 Tbsp Dried Rosemary
2 Tbsp Dired Thyme
2 Tbsp Sweet Paprika
1 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
Mix the potatoes with the seasoning, make sure they become fully coated.
Step 3: Into the pan!
In a cast iron pan, place the first potato.
Holding it in place add the second potato and so on.
Follow the line of potatoes around until they meet in the middle.Place one in the centre to finish.
Step 4: Cook!
Cook the potatoes for 40 minutes
Step 5: Cut the Bacon
While the potatoes cook, cut the bacon into small cubes.
Step 6: Add the Bacon
Once the potatoes have been cooking for 40 minutes, place the bacon on top.
Place any fat pieces in between the potatoes.
Cover and cook for another 20 minutes.
Step 8: Enhance with Cheese!
To make this dish even better, add some grated cheese
Don’t get to heavy hand because we don’t want the cheese to overwhelm the dish.
Cook for a final 15 minutes to melt the cheese.
Step 9: Chop some Onions
Slice two spring onions for garnish.
Step 10: Garnish!
Garnish the potato dish with the spring onion.
Spoon on a dollop of sour cream to finish.
